Transcendentalism

Transcendentalism

What is an original sin? Refers to when Adam and Eve slept together.

How did the Puritans feel about the original sins? They felt like it isn’t any other way, a man is born a sinner.

How did the rationalists differ from the puritans? They both had different thoughts about how they live their life.

What is romanticism? It is really the way he talk to people

Scenarios

The first scenario is related to Transcendentalism because when you are making a decision yourself it is the best that you think, not anyone else. But when you are making a choice to really benefit you, others and the mind it is transcendentalism.
The second scene is related in a good way. This boy and his peoples wants him to go to lawyer school to be a lawyer but he doesn’t really feel that this is best for him, he feels that being a school teacher is more better, more important than a lawyer in other words a good example of transcendentalism

I choose scenario 2.
I probably would have gone with the lawyer career. I mean god didn’t make him feel that way for nothing. I know that his family and friends want him to go on and be a lawyer, but if he don’t feel that that is the best for him then he needs to do what he think is best for him and not what his people say because they’re not the ones taking the lessons, lectures and going to lawyer school or what ever he has to prepare for. Transcendentalism wouldn’t have much bad to say, he would say the best for this scene. I think that this scene is best for transcendentalism. His family wants him to do whats best for him, something that’s going to benefit him more. But the only thing is his family wants him to be a lawyer but he wants to be a school teacher.
